Announcing Project Jeevajala Jeevanaadi

Water Forum Mysuru, in collaboration with BSF (Bengaluru Sustainability Forum), is embarking on an initiative to revitalize Purnaiah Nala - our city's historic 25km water channel. Working alongside Mysore School of Architecture and Aranya Outreach Trust, this project combines research, community engagement, and conservation efforts to repurpose this crucial blue-green network.

Exploring the history, biodiversity, and importance of the Purnaiah Nala, engaging over 120 citizens across 14 walks so far, to foster urban wetland awareness.

Purpose of the visit was to assess the current status of the lake infrastructure.
